I hit the Jackpot right off! Straight Jack from Joliet, IL with Lush. Just as I was thinking I wish I would have chose a blog about movies instead of music, I get lucky tonight.

Lush has that cross between a pop song and a hitting hard The Runaways. She starts off with a sexy sultry voice for about 30 seconds and then rocks it out for the chorus. Returning to the softness in between the rock'n out the strumming keeps it light and fluffy to compliment the calm voice. I really appreciate that Straight Jack is a band that has some change ups and doesn't over do the pop factor.
